Southampton Club National 22nd July—Results 23rd July 2007 Seven SASA members raced on their home slope in the Southampton Club National on Sunday 22nd July.

SRSA 5, Southampton 21st July 2007—Results 23rd July 2007 A record number of twelve SASA competitors raced on Saturday 21st July; four medal places were achieved:
Gold: Giacomo Ghislanzoni (boys 11-12) Silver: Sam Williams (boys 9-10) Bronze: Cameron Manson (girls 7-8) Mary Gilbert (female 17-19)
Congratulations to four new members who all skied exceptionally well in their first regional race; Adam Dixon, Rowan Dixon, Cameron Manson and Christian Thomas. Special congratulations to Cameron on achieving a bronze medal in her first race.
Conditions were very wet and difficult at times, with the adjoining field looking more like Glastonbury than Southampton. Here’s hoping for better weather at the final SRSA race and the end-of-season BBQ on Saturday 8th September.
SRSA 4, Aldershot 15th July 2007—Results 23rd July 2007 SASA fielded six competitors at Aldershot. No medals were achieved on this occasion, but good performances were put in by all: Boys 7-8: Morgan 9th Boys 9-10: Sam 4th Boys 11-12: Hobie 7th Male: 13-14: Philip 11th / Josh 13th Male 15-16: Richard 7th |
